In commemoration to the 2.0 event, I have decided to host my own website on an old-ish computer that I own. I think it is moving along pretty quick. If you want to check it out, go to 10.0.1.196 (no www. or .com, just type those numbers in your address bar). It is only an IP address because I haven't bought a domain name yet.
Because of this site's transition to 2.0, I will be removing many pages that are relevant only to 1.1.4/1.1.5 and making many changes. Here is the list of changes I am planning so far. I will be updating this post continuously so check back regularly.Changes:- Change page "Jailbreak Method (1.1.4)" to "Jailbreak Method (2.0)"- Remove page "Hack the Lockbox" Done- Remove downloads that are only for 1.1.5 and below Done (Left old firmware though)- Remove "Jailbreak 1.1.1" Done- Change "Why You Should Jailbreak" content to 2.0- Update "Error Fixes" with problems that are more recent and pertain to 2.0- Change site's repository packages with ones that are supported by 2.0- Change "Your Own Source" so it works with Installer 4 or Cydia- Remove "Manifesto" page Done- Change template of site
Over the next week or so I would like to start to slowly make the transition of this site from firmware 1.1.4/1.1.5 to 2.0. I know this will be hard on some people but even as I type, apple is developing 2.1 beta versions and soon 1.1.4 will be the new 1.0.2, in a figurative sense of course. For now, I would recommend everyone to write on a piece of paper all of the applications you have installed, backup all of your music and pictures on a single computer, kiss Installer.app goodbye and welcome Cydia. Finally, get ready to leap into the unknown and head over to the Unlock 2.0 Firmware page on this site.
